The Bryggudden car park and adjoining supermarket are centrally located in Karlstad, next to the Löfbergs coffee roastery and warehouse. The building was constructed on a derelict site, right next to the railway tracks used to transport coffee beans. A loading bay for larger lorries was also provided, along with an associated loading ramp. The car park has a capacity of 600 parking spaces.

We developed a design concept to provide protection from the elements – rain and wind – using a triangular pattern cladding inspired by dragon skin.
