Villa ROKH was built as a DIY project using recycled shipping containers. The property is situated on a large private plot deep within a forest in central Sweden, completely hidden from view by the surrounding area. The building was constructed to be ‘zombie-proof’ in accordance with the client’s wishes and is sealed with eco-fibre insulation on the inside. Gravity was responsible for the design and planning permission, and assisted with structural calculations.
